Have you ever tasted a delicious and mouth-watering “mine bouille mangouak” at Chez François? If not, then my friend you should leave your work right away and go eat this tasty and delightful ‘‘mine bouille- mangouak’’. This restaurant is situated right behind the Loyeng supermarket in Mahebourg. As from my perception Chez François makes the best seafood noodles at an affordable price. François is the owner of the restaurant and his wife and daughter run the restaurant. François is the chef and his speciality is “mine bouille” and “mine frite mangouak” and they also serve “Palourd” which is also seafood.
“Mangouak” is a seafood found where the river meets the sea and it is cooked with spices such as “gros annis”. You can eat this delice along with “mirroir” egg. From my personal experience Chez François he does not only serve heavenly “mine bouille mangouak” but also provide a good customer service. The staffs are welcoming and you don’t have to wait to get your food. The plate is HUGE!! The price is affordable and worth every penny. I also recommend you to try the “mine frite Mangouak” which also has a unique taste that can only be found at Chez François.
